《NOWnews今日新聞》新任總經理俞肇琭今（1）日正式上任，俞肇琭曾任職多家知名新聞媒體，擁有豐富的行銷管理、網站創建和維運規畫經驗。面對百家爭鳴的媒體環境，他不僅要帶領提升新聞品質與媒體服務外，更決定深化地方新聞與公益活動，強調新聞不是撕裂、製造紛爭，公司將秉持信念走自己的路去衝刺，成為「華人界最具影響力的新聞媒體」！
面對現階段各家媒體百家爭鳴、競爭環境激烈，《NOWnews今日新聞》新任總經理俞肇琭表示，如何能在創造流量下而不失去新聞的本質與對閱聽大眾的服務，是《NOWnews今日新聞》所要重視與思考的。在深化綜合性新聞媒體服務方面，將提升新聞三度「速度、深度和廣度」，且今年推動的人員倍增計畫，獲股東們大力支持，相信在新聞「速度、深度和廣度」的推動上將更精進。

梅姬颱風受災後古坑與斗南的筍農，竟未符合農業天然災害補助，日昨邀集農委會、農糧署中區分署莊老達分署長、台南區農改場雲林分場張錦興分場長、雲林縣政府農業處、古坑鄉黃意玲鄉長、縣議員、斗南鎮代表會沈暉勛主席、古坑鄉代表會黃朝裕代表及多位古坑鄉村長、筍農等會勘，經劉立委協調下，農委會同意將筍母之損害列入補助判定標準，請雲縣府盡速排期程辦理第二次複勘，抽查比例原則將以三十戶為樣本，以維護筍農權益。
劉立委建議農委會對農業損害做判斷時，應更站在農民生計及未來收成方面做考量。劉建國表示九月份請第二次複查作業應如何判定作業標準，梅姬颱風重創雲林，雲林筍農仍有一千八百二十四戶，共計一千三百0六公頃尚無法得到天然災害補助，故與古坑鄉鄉長黃意玲，多次向農委會及其相關單位爭取反應，一樣都是竹筍受損，為何其他縣市確有補助，獨缺雲林縣筍農沒有補助，再次向農委會主委曹啟鴻反應，曹主委當場允諾，重新複勘，從寬認定，邀集相關單位進行複勘。
劉立委表示:梅姬颱風最高陣風曾達十六級風，暴風中心出海後，外圍環流所帶來的回南效應，雲林更是首當其衝，筍農所種植的筍母嚴重損害，直接影響明年之產量達三成以上。
